This section introduces the 3-point hitch, PTO and hydraulic matching configurations. The WKR150 series is fitted with Category 1 & 2 three-point hitch.
To extend service life and guarantee operational safety, keep the PTO connection maintained in a horizontal state when the wood chipper is in working posture.

Tractor Connection Steps

  1. Clear all personnel, especially children, away from the operating area.
  2. Reserve ample space for safe reversing towards the chipper unit.
  3. Set tractor lower lift arms to free floating mode.
  4. Reverse slowly and align the tractor squarely with the chipper.
  5. Activate the parking brake, get off the tractor and check vertical and horizontal pin alignment.
  6. Adjust lower link arms to match the connecting pins of the chipper.
  7. Return to the tractor and fine-tune height as required.
  8. Reverse slowly to align holes of lower arms with connecting pins.
  9. Stop the tractor, apply brakes and fit both lower arms onto the pins.
  10. Fasten all retainer clips on link pins securely.
  11. Mount the top link and install the top pin with retaining fittings.
  12. Adjust the top link via turnbuckle and restore it to standard status.

Control Operation Guidelines

Read through this chapter thoroughly to get well acquainted with all control positions and functions. Mastery of operating controls enables operators to make full use of all functions of WKR series machines in line with actual working scenarios.

Discharge Chute (WKR150)

Equipped with a spring-type locking handle, the discharge chute supports 90-degree directional adjustment and firm positioning.
  • Lift the latch handle to disengage the chute locking pin.
  • Adjust the discharge angle via operating handles.
  • Release the handle to lock the chute firmly at the designated position.

Feed Roller Hydraulic Speed Regulation (WKR150)

The flow distribution valve is adopted to match excessive tractor hydraulic flow and regulate feed roller rotating speed.
  • Speed up feeding for light materials like thin branches and twigs.
  • Slow down feeding speed when processing hardwood logs or under heavy engine load.

The hydraulic feeding system is equipped with a manual flow control valve for on-site speed adjustment.

  • Shift the control lever to the target gear.
  • Tighten the thumb screw to fix the adjusted speed.
