The skid steer brush cutter is ideal for clearing brush, undergrowth and reclaiming new farmland. The SRH72 is an excellent attachment for farms, ranches and landscaping businesses, delivering a clean, tidy finish on overgrown grass.
The LEOMECH SRH72 Skid Steer Brush Cutter is engineered with a heavy-duty, robust build. It is fitted with a reinforced push bar capable of pushing down trees up to 8 inches in diameter.
The LEOMECH SRH72 features an open-front design with round blade carriers.
Skid steer brush cutters are also commonly referred to as mowers, brush hogs and rotary cutters.
As a professional skid steer attachment, the SRH72 connects to most skid steer loaders via the universal quick attach system. Simply connect the included hydraulic hoses and quick couplers to your skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulic system, which powers the hydraulic motor linked to the spindle. Equipped with a round blade carrier holding 4 cutting blades, the blades swing outward by centrifugal force to efficiently cut down grass and thick brush.
The SRH72 adopts an open-front structure, with both left and right sides enclosed by welded steel plates. The front is cut out at two 45-degree angles to fully expose the cutting blades. A chain curtain is installed at the rear, allowing cut material to discharge smoothly while the machine moves forward.
It is critical to select a skid steer with the correct hydraulic flow. The SRH72 requires a hydraulic flow of 25–35 GPM. Matching the standard required flow ensures the rotary cutter operates at optimal performance.
While higher hydraulic flow may bring the cutter up to speed slightly faster once in operation, LEOMECH designs and manufactures the SRH72 to work within a specific hydraulic flow range. Please confirm your skid steer operates within this 25–35 GPM range to achieve the best performance and service life. Operating outside the specified hydraulic flow range will cause premature damage to the machine.
The LEOMECH SRH72 is equipped with 4 drop-down blades, all bolted securely onto the round blade carrier. The drop-down design helps avoid damage when catching fence wire or other tangled debris, and allows blades to run closer to the ground for a cleaner cut. The blades are made of high-grade steel, easy to replace and maintain. The deck top provides direct access to the blades, making blade replacement quick and convenient.
